We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Beautiful property, setting, quiet and all the amenities we needed to have a perfect family Thanksgiving get away. Hope to return soon.

Absolutely beautiful! My family rented this beautiful cabin for a fall weekend get away. We had a wonderful time...being so close to both Bloomington and Nashville. We would highly recommend this cabin to all our friends and family. Very clean and spacious with plenty of fun things to do there....pool table, hot tub and family fun board games

It was fully appointed with anything a guest might need. Halfway between Bloomington and Nashville, it was centrally located to restaurants and activities, yet quiet enough to enjoy the multitude of bird song. Very near T. C. Steele State Memorial, which offered an interesting introduction to Southern Indiana natural history and its vibrant arts community. Jeff and Amy were very courteous and responsive; we valued our interactions with them.

I am part of a writer's group that, for the last 15 years, have been escaping annually to different parts of the country for a creative retreat and writer's workshop. We've literally been all over the country. This year, 2017, I was hosting in Indianapolis and we made our third - and best - visit to Brown County. What made it the best? Adventurewood. Amy and Jeff have turned this grand cabin into a true woodland escape with so many nice touches, there's no way I can cover all of them here. This, by far, was the best appointed cabin we've ever been to (there are 5 of us). How many times have you gone to a cabin and had no propane for the gas stove? Adventurewood had two canisters, just in case. For cooking, the kitchen has everything you need and then some (they even had whole been coffee and a grinder and modern coffeemaker and filters and I only say that because of the times we've been somewhere and not had filters. This year we brought our own and didn't need them). The gas grill is new and clean, not like the slightly scary ones you find in some places. The wraparound porch/rockers became a frequent gathering spot for us. We didn't use the hot tub but if you're into that kind of thing, it's awesome. The fire pit was so awesome, two of us looked on line to see if we could find it for purchase for our own patios (and we did). Spacious, comfortable, gorgeous - with Dish Network and DSL internet just in case you absolutely HAVE to reconnect with civilization. 7 acres of undisturbed beauty. Every bird species known to Indiana (including the neighborhood hawk). Coyotes (we could hear them at night). A reported Lynx in the neighborhood. Unfettered view of the stars at night (each night we tracked the International Space Station so we could watch it fly over...the view is that clear). Walks in the woods or up to the nearby artist colony about 2 miles away. 10 minutes from Bloomington (shopping) and 10 minutes from the IGA in Nashville. But secluded away off of route 46 and what must be nearly 1/4 mile back off the road. It just doesn't get any better than this - nor has it for us at 14 other venues. We will be back, if they'll have us. The capper: the absolute hospitality of Amy and Jeff who are there for anything you might need, are very easy to work with via email and phone while you're making arrangements, and the famous Hoosier TLC that has the cabin well appointed, totally renovated, well cared for, completely clean and just a joy.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Adventurewood. The property is gorgeous and the description and pictures online do not do it justice. The cabin was clean and very well maintained. We were greeted by the owners who quickly showed us around before leaving us to enjoy our stay. We are definitely making plans to return!

As we drove up the drive, we knew we have chosen the perfect spot for a getaway. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, clean, and with all the modern conveniences. Amy and Jeff were most accommodating with information, plus answering any questions before we arrived and after. Their friendliness and wanting to make our visit so nice for us was a welcoming gift. We will definitely come back!
